At We Love Birds, we're a couple united by our deep passion for aviculture. Our journey began with a pearl lutino cockatiel named Baby Bird, who continues to be a cherished member of our personal flock. Our affection for lovebirds inspired us to specialize in breeding various species, ensuring each bird is ethically raised, hand-fed, and nurtured with love. Based in Walland, Tennessee, we are dedicated to connecting fellow bird enthusiasts with healthy, socialized avian companions.
From Our home to yours
At We Love Birds, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for our parrots, ensuring they are healthy, well-socialized, and ready to become cherished members of your family. Our meticulous breeding and nurturing process includes:
Optimal Living Conditions: We maintain the highest standards in our aviaries to promote the health and well-being of our birds.
Breeding Season Monitoring: During each species' breeding season, we carefully monitor and assess the health and viability of the eggs.
Early Development Care: After hatching, nestlings remain with their parents for the initial two weeks to benefit from natural nurturing. At two weeks of age, we gently transfer them to a brooder to ensure their continued development and well-being.
DNA Testing and Gender Identification: We conduct DNA testing or Pelvic Bone Examinations at the time of transfer, allowing us to determine the birds' gender by four weeks of age.
Hand-Feeding and Socialization: From two weeks onward, our dedicated team hand-feeds, handles, cuddles, and plays with the young parrots daily to promote their social development and ease their transition into new homes.
Deposit and Payment Policy:
Non-Refundable Deposit: To reserve a bird, we require a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 20% of the total cost. This deposit is credited toward the final purchase price.
Shipping Fee: An additional shipping fee of $200 is required at the time of deposit to cover the costs associated with safely transporting your bird.
Visitation and Shipping:
Pre-Weaning Visits: We welcome paid in full future owners to visit, bond, and interact with their birds before weaning during our regular business hours.
Shipping Policy: Birds become eligible for shipping once they are fully weaned, and all shipments are subject to favorable weather conditions to ensure the safety and comfort of the birds.
At We Love Birds, our commitment is to provide you with a healthy, well-socialized avian companion, supported by our comprehensive care and guidance.
